About
I studied Illustration at Pratt Institute graduating with my BFA in 2016. I’ve since worked in worlds of bikes and art. As a messenger, a racer, a daily commuter, and in bike sales side by side with freelancing in the arts. I work as a scenic painter in many theaters and studios as well as faux finishing and wallpapering for homes. I teach screen printing, and continue to print my own shirts. As well as creating concept art and posters for films. It has been an eventful few years since my graduation. With every new project and process I’m learning more, experimenting, and growing.
I grew up in the small town of Salisbury in Central New York State. Inspired by the beautiful landscapes and animals I would see all around me. I was a constant doodler in all my classes, filling the margins of my homework and notebooks with flowers, patterns, people, and animals. I started to take my drawings more seriously in 2008 as the idea of being an artist really solidified for me. I had always been a story teller and more and more my stories were becoming visual. Highly inspired by the graphic novels and anime I watched at the time and ever growing into more expansive and colorful projects. I spent my last two years of high school training in Visual Communications at Herkimer BOCES while building a traditional portfolio during my lunch periods at my school.
